Senior Vice President of Global Pharamceutical Operations Tom McCubbins refers to the expansion as vital in maintaining the Wilson plant's life and longevity within Merck. Merck has received a grant of $200,000 from One North Carolina Fund and $700,000 from Wilson County is assist with the endeavor.
