Cropping up overnight it seems, the new signs just off U.S. 58 has caused buzz in the community about Wilson's newest 325-acre corporate development site. As the striking signs might suggest, the available acreage as been dubbed The Campus at 587.

In the midst of the everchanging COVID-19 travel restrictions, the Wilson Economic Development Council has utilized technology in reaching potential client and site developers with good results as Wilson Economic Development Executive Director Jennifer Lantz indicates that interest level in The Campus is promising as many companies producing overseas look to return to U.S. manufacturing locations.

Even facing down a pandemic, Lantz and City Manager Grant Goings share positive outlooks for Wilson in terms of business recruitment and job opportunity.
